- 12 of 12 engine tests pass: bit-exact clean pass when there is no vocal, real reduction when there is a collision, always-valid output against corrupt data, and stability at any block size.
- 0.27% of one core in the worst case — vocal present, SPACE at maximum, every band active.
- Zero samples of latency. It does not shift anything in time.
- Below 120 Hz and above 12 kHz stay untouched: your kick and your 808 are never affected. Reduction caps at 12 dB per band with SPACE at 100%.
- It only works where there is a real collision: if the beat has no energy where the vocal sings, nothing moves. That is what avoids the pumping the category is known for.
- One control, SPACE. At 50% it is already at the right spot.
se7en Engine
Included at no extra charge with compatible plugins. se7en Engine connects supported instances locally. Standard processing retains a local fallback; internal connections require the engine.

Before you choose
Do I need to know sidechain routing?
Not for the internal connection: se7en Engine connects supported sending and receiving instances. A compatible sending instance is still required on the vocal track. Manual DAW sidechain is also available.
How does The Button fit in?
The Button can provide the compatible vocal send. It is a separate product, not a free plugin included with Make Way. Check both products' availability before choosing the internal-routing workflow.
Will it replace a detailed dynamic EQ?
Its focus is faster vocal-and-beat balancing with fewer decisions. Use a more configurable tool when you need to shape individual bands manually.
