What it actually does
12 of 12 engine tests pass: bit-exact clean pass when there is no vocal, real reduction when there is a collision, always-valid output against corrupt data, and stability at any block size.
0.27% of one core in the worst case — vocal present, SPACE at maximum, every band active.
Zero samples of latency. It does not shift anything in time.
Below 120 Hz and above 12 kHz stay untouched: your kick and your 808 are never affected. Reduction caps at 12 dB per band with SPACE at 100%.
It only works where there is a real collision: if the beat has no energy where the vocal sings, nothing moves. That is what avoids the pumping the category is known for.
