About

Hi, I'm Julián

I'm a producer and composer. I trained in La Habana and kept going from there, working in Cuba, the US, and here in Argentina. I do scores and beats, I mix, I play live. And along the way I figured out how to get paid for it too, which is harder than it sounds.

Where I learned all this

I started back when the internet was new and owning a DAW was a luxury. In La Habana I studied classical composition and theory, so I've got a pretty solid foundation. Then, working between the US and Argentina, I slowly learned what to actually do with that foundation when you've got a real song in front of you.

What I've built along the way

  • Live shows — from intimate acoustic sets to large-scale productions.
  • Orchestral works — composition and arrangement for chamber and symphonic orchestra.
  • Folk & roots music — recording and producing artists across Latin America.
  • Commercial music — pop, rock, hip-hop, trap and world music for brands, labels and independent artists.
  • Soundtracks — scores for film, documentaries and advertising across South America.

Over the years I ended up in the technical side too. I've designed the odd recording studio, done acoustics work for theaters and cultural centers, even ran a radio station for a while. All of that taught me how a room actually sounds, and it helps a lot when I sit down to produce.

Why se7en beatlab exists

I built se7en beatlab because most producers get told how to make a track, and almost nothing about how to own it and get paid for it. So I put both in one place: the beats and productions I make, and the stuff I had to learn the hard way — royalties, metadata, publishing, sync. The tools came out of my own sessions. I don't share anything I don't use.

Remote collaboration

I work remotely now, so it doesn't matter where you are. Send me whatever you've got, we talk about where you want to take it, and I pass you versions to listen to. If something doesn't sit right, we change it. I work across a lot of styles, so if yours mixes things up or is a bit odd, even better. If you've got a track going and want another ear on it, write me and we'll look at it together.
