Behind these five credits is a console that hasn't moved in 17 years: Estudios HEM, in San Salvador de Jujuy since 2009, host to a good part of the region's recorded output — Maryta de Humahuaca, La Yugular Reggae, Memo Vilte, En-Canto, Los Dumba. The grounding is classical composition and theory, trained in Havana, followed by work across Cuba, the United States, and Argentina in radio direction and acoustic design for studios and theaters. One further detail sets this apart: alongside producing, he builds his own audio tools — proprietary DSP plugins and a public analyzer, both live on this site.
