How it works
Harmony (Camelot wheel): two tracks work when they share a code (8A→8A), are neighbors with the same letter (8A→7A/9A), or are relative major/minor keys (8A→8B). A +2 move with the same letter (8A→10A) can raise energy; use it carefully.
Tempo: differences up to ~4% can mix without adjustment; up to ~8% with pitch/tempo adjustment. Half- and double-time are also considered (a 140 BPM track can mix with a 70 BPM track).
Can a 70 BPM track mix with a 140 BPM track? Yes — it is the same pulse in half- or double-time. The matrix marks 70↔140 as tempo-compatible, while Camelot harmony determines the rest.
Scope: BPM and key are estimated from the first 20 seconds of each track — using the same engine as the audio analyzer. Confirm key transitions by ear.
