About Me

I’ve been producing music for 25 years, and I’ve had the chance to study at respected institutions in La Havana, Cuba; Chicago & Waukeegan, United States; and Argentina.

My Background

Over the years, I’ve produced:

  • Live shows
  • Orchestral works
  • Folk music
  • Commercial music: pop, rock, hip hop, and world music.

I’ve also designed recording studios, worked on the acoustics of theaters, cultural centers, and churches, and composed soundtracks for films, documentaries, and ads. I’ve also run a radio station. Time adds up.

These days I work and collab remotely, which has let me explore new ways to create, share, and earn from music.

A Producer Shaped by Three Continents

I started making music before most of today’s producers were born. Twenty-five years ago, when the internet was still a novelty and DAWs were a luxury, I was already in the studio — learning by doing, making mistakes, and falling in love with the process.

My formal training took me across three countries. I studied at respected institutions in La Havana, Cuba, where I learned the discipline of classical composition and music theory that I still use every day. Then came Chicago and Waukegan, Illinois — where I was exposed to the full force of American music culture, from blues and jazz clubs to underground hip-hop. Finally, Argentina became my long-term base, where I deepened my work in folk and rock production, collaborated with live orchestras, and built a network of collaborators I still work with today.

What I’ve Built Along the Way

Over 25 years, I’ve worked across almost every genre:

  • Live shows — From intimate acoustic sets to large-scale productions with full stage rigs.
  • Orchestral works — Composing and arranging for chamber and full orchestras.
  • Folk and roots music — Recording and producing artists from across Latin America.
  • Commercial music — Pop, rock, hip-hop, trap, and world music for brands, labels, and independent artists.
  • Soundtracks — Film scores, documentary music, and advertising jingles aired across South America.

Beyond music making, I’ve worked on the technical side too:

  • Studio design — Acoustically treating recording studios, from home setups to full professional rooms.
  • Theater acoustics — Improving the sound of theaters, cultural centers, and churches.
  • Radio — Running a radio station taught me more about programming and audience than any textbook could.

Why se7en beatlab Exists

All that experience needed a home. se7en beatlab is my attempt to combine everything I’ve learned into one space — not just as a producer for hire, but as an educator, a creator, and a connector.

This site exists because music producers deserve real, actionable information. Knowing how to make a great track is only half the equation. You also need to understand royalties, metadata, publishing, sync licensing, and how to get paid consistently. That’s what the blog is about.

The Beat Store makes high-quality beats accessible — whether you’re an independent artist in Buenos Aires, a rapper in Chicago, or a content creator in London.

The Tools section exists because I’m genuinely obsessed with workflow. Every shortcut and technique I share is something I use myself.

Remote Collaboration

These days I work and collaborate entirely remotely. This shift sharpened my communication, delivery standards, and documentation — and opened collaborations I never would have reached from a single city.

If you’re looking for a producer with 25 years of real-world experience, cross-genre versatility, and genuine care for the final product — you’re in the right place.
